PHILOSOPHY BEHIND CALMSAEKAAM

CALMNESS + WORK = CALMSAEKAAM

Calmess in today’s day and age can no longer be underestimated or overlooked. It is not just a virtue, but the bedrock for personal and societal metamorphosis. Work or Kaam as it is known in Hindi, when done from the firm foundations of calmess, can enrich and enhance your life by leaps and bounds. One can be multi-talented or super-intelligent but more often than not, it is these high value individuals that fall prey to mental chaos. Calmness is not just a destination, but a journey and a never-ending prize in itself. Once you get a taste of it, the old chaotic ways of the mind cease to exist. My constant endeavour is to show people the best way to utilize calmness to improve their lives.

According to me, you are one of the good listeners, which is a necessary quality for a counsellor. This service is very necessary during this pandemic where students, elders and all are bound at home. This is a time of high stress and loneliness, which requires more workers like you to create mental peace and well-being. Give the good service to who are in need. All the BEST. Frequently Asked Questions

Can you prevent mental health problems?

Prevention in mental health aims to reduce the incidence, prevalence, and recurrence of mental health disorders and their associated disability. Preventive interventions are based on modifying risk exposure and strengthening the coping mechanisms of the individual.

Are there cures for mental health problems?

At this time, most mental illnesses cannot be cured, but they can usually be treated effectively to minimize the symptoms and allow the individual to function in work, school, or social environments. To begin treatment, an individual needs to see a qualified mental health professional.

What causes mental health problems?

Most scientists believe that mental illnesses result from problems with the communication between neurons in the brain (neurotransmission). For example, the level of the neurotransmitter serotonin is lower in individuals who have depression. This finding led to the development of certain medications for the illness.

What do I do if I’m worried about my mental health?

If a person is experiencing several at one time and the symptoms are causing serious problems in the ability to study, work or relate to others, he/she should be seen by a physician or mental health professional. People with suicidal thoughts or intent, or thoughts of harming others, need immediate attention.

How do I know if I’m unwell?

Each illness has its own symptoms, but common signs of mental illness in adults and adolescents can include the following: Excessive worrying or fear. Feeling excessively sad or low. Confused thinking or problems concentrating and learning.

What do I do if I’m worried about a friend?

Remember they may feel you are ‘getting at them’. Be calm, patient and sympathetic. Try to bring up the subject when you are both relaxed and have time to talk. Be aware that if your relative has delusions or hallucinations, for them these things are really happening.

Ready to Untie the Mental Knots ?

As the age-old saying goes, “An open mind is like a parachute”. Sounds cliched, but it holds true in all situations of life.
